Operations Before Service

Opening and Closing of Hood
Caution
Do not open the hood in strong winds.
Caution
Be careful not to pinch your fingers when you
open or close the hood.
Procedure to open the hood:
Remove the snap pin, then the washer.
Remove the bolt.

Lift up the hood.
Make sure that the hood will not close,
and then remove your hands.

Procedure to close the hood:
Close the hood slowly.
Press the hood lightly and lock it with the
bolt.
Install the washer, and inset the snap pin.
Opening and Closing of Radiator Cover
Caution
Do not open the radiator cover in strong
winds.
Caution
Be careful not to pinch your fingers when you
open or close the cover.
Procedure to open the radiator cover:
Unlock the rubber catch on the right and
left side.
