Attach the wheel in a position within the range
of cutting height that suits your work
requirements.
To increase cutting height:
Loosen cutting height adjustment nut A,
tighten cutting height adjustment nut B,
then lower the rear roller.
Use the cutting height gauge to
determine the position, then tighten
cutting height adjustment nut A securely.
To decrease cutting height:
Loosen cutting height adjustment nut B,
tighten cutting height adjustment nut A,
then raise the rear roller.
Use the cutting height gauge to
determine the position, then tighten
cutting height adjustment nut B securely.

Adjustment of Cutter Adjustment Spring
If the diameter of the reel cutter (cutting
cylinder) becomes smaller, adjust the cutter
adjustment spring.
Adjust the blade engagement.
Loosen the pipe with cutter adjusting screw,
and then adjust the length of the spring coil
to approximately 40 mm (1.575 in.).

Adjustment of Lift Arm Spring
Important
Adjust the spring if the front wheels slip on an
ascending slope.
Raise the mower units.
Loosen lock nut A, then tighten lock nut B to
adjust the spring.
Perform the same procedure for both left and
right.
Make an adjustment so that the lift arm
spring will be compressed evenly.
