● Always connect the brake pedal except the time of operation. If it
is used without connecting, a fall accident may occur.
● When you step on the brake and turn in small radius, be very
careful of the state of the grass and the ground. The grass may
be damaged.

Cautions on fuel handling Danger 3-5
● It is highly flammable. Do not smoke when handling fuel.
● Never fill the fuel tank indoors, and while engine is running or the
engine is hot.
●
In order to prevent the fire, always keep the engine clean and be sure
to remove deposition of grass, grease, and oil.
● Clean spilled fuel immediately.
Cautions when leaving the machine

1) Stop the machine in level place and engage the parking brake.
2) Make the blade rotary switch into the "OFF" position, and lower the mower unit to the
ground.
3) Stop the engine.
4) Remove the ignition key.
5) When effectiveness of the brake is not good, park the machine using wheel stoppers.
● Do not park on the slopes.

The parking brake is on the left side of the
front cover. Connect the brake pedal on either
side with the pedal lever, and step on both of
brake pedals. Pull up the parking brake lever,
and engage parking brake.
Press the brake pedal down again for
releasing the parking brake.

Be sure to run after releasing the parking brake. Otherwise, the
brake disc and the hydraulic equipment are damaged.
Caution
Forward/Backward pedal 3-9
Two pedals system is adopted. To move
forward, press the inside pedal down. To
move backward, press the outside pedal
down. If the pedal is returned, the machine
will stop automatically.

Turning characteristics at the operation and travelling performance in inclined field are
improved by introducing the independent right and left brake pedals. If the brake pedal of the
turning direction is stepped on, it can turn in smaller radius. Moreover, when the front wheel
of mountain side slips on inclined field, step on the brake pedal of mountain side to make the
traction of the wheel of valley side increase, and stable travelling can be carried out.
<Change procedure from the connection state to the independent mode>
1) Raise the pedal lever and draw out from the right brake pedal.
2) Lock the pedal lever to the guide plate on the left brake pedal.
