1.11.5 Interrupt assignments in APIC mode
A total of 23 IRQs are available in the APIC mode ( A dvanced P rogrammable I nterrupt
C ontroller). The activation of this option is only effective if it takes place before the operating
system (Windows XP) is activated. There are then 23 IRQs available.
