PIO Mode The PIO mode determines the data rate of
the hard drive.
Information:
This option is not available on the
PPC700. Therefore this setting is not
relevant.

DMA Mode The data transfer rate to and from
the secondary slave drive is defined here.
The DMA mode must be activated in the
Windows device manager in order to
guarantee maximum performance. Only
possible when manually setting up the
