5.3 Proximity Switch
5.3.1 Description
The device continuously records the current distance to
the object or the fill level as the Transducer Value in
percentage steps of 0.1 percent.

0 (= 0 %) is reached.

The analog signal Transducer Value is used in the
Switching Profiles function to obtain binary switching
signals. The switching signals can:
– be output as switching signals via switching outputs
– be output as process signals via IO-Link
– be processed internally
