Otherwise, the batteries may
fail (leak or run out).
• If the battery leaks, before
inserting a new one, dry the
battery compartment dry. If
spilled electrolyte gets into your
eyes, rinse them thoroughly with
running water. Do not rub your
eyes. Contact with electrolyte
on clothing or skin is fraught
with burns. If this happens,
flush the electrolyte with water
and seek medical help.
• Used batteries are to be
disposed of.
• When disposing of used
batteries, follow the instructions
indicated on their case and
adhere to the regulations
established in your country.
