5.3.3 Setting Alternate TCP/IP Configuration -

Windows 7

1. Open the Windows 7 Control Panel and open the Network

and Sharing Centre window:

2. Click on “Change Adapter Settings” (as shown in Figure 5.16

above) and the Network Adaptors installed on the PC will be
displayed.

3. Double click on the Local Area Connection icon.

4. The status of the Local Area Network will be displayed.

Select “Properties” as shown below.

5. The Local Area Connection Properties will then be

displayed. Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)
