Masoneilan SVI II AP Digital Positioner Quick Start Guide | 58

For rotary valves with rotations greater than 60°, the magnet
assembly must be aligned as shown in Figure

NOTE

For a reciprocating globe valve, it is not necessary to
remove the positioner from the bracket. Details are
given below.

For reciprocating valves the adjustable link turnbuckle must be
parallel to the valve stem. To ensure linearity in positioning,
verify that the hole in the lever aligns with the indicating hole in
the bracket when the valve is in the closed position. Check that
the bracket is mounted using the proper holes (refer to Table
