Fuel is pumped from the tan

by a roller cell pump through the fuel filter to the fuel rail at the end of

een the pump pressure and that the inta

The fuel pump is lubricated and cooled by the fuel flo

ing into the engine, including the brushes and through the

The fuel filter retains fuel impurities. It is important to prevent bloc

age of the fuel pump and injector nozzles
