to the container.These droplets are fed to the engine through an anti-return valve electrically operated

acts as asponge, absorbing and storing
fuel vapors.Vapors are stored in the
container until the engine has started

Operating principle EVAP System
There is a passage from the tank to the container through the fuel cap. This passage helps breathing system and
also the passage of the vapors of HC to the container.
The container acts as an accumulator of these vapors,
w
hich are purged to the engine via the purge valve, thanks to
the vehiclesuction.
