4.0 OPeRATION
4.1 Performing CO and Draft Testing
4.1.1 Analyzer Turn On and Warm Up
1. Connect the probe and make sure that the analyzer s properly set
up per Secton 3.0.
2. Turn ON the analyzer n fresh ar by pressng s
I/O
button and
observe that the followng Warm-Up Screens are dsplayed.
These screens show the analyzer’s model number, the unt’s soft-
ware revson, and fnally the remanng warm-up tme. If an O
2
sensor s nstalled, then ts current output level s also dsplayed.
Note:
The warm-up time is 10 seconds for analyzers that do
not contain an oxygen sensor, and have their CO channel
set up for manual zero. The warm-up time is 60 seconds for
analyzers that contain an oxygen sensor, and/or have their
CO channel set up for auto zero.
Tip: An O
2
error will occur when the oxygen sensor’s output
drops to between 80 and 90. Consider replacing the oxygen
sensor when its output level drops below 100.
3. Wat for the analyzer to count down ts warm-up perod; after
whch, ether the CO Screen (Model 100), the CO & Draft Screen
(Model 105), or the Fuel Screen (Model 110/120/125) s dsplayed.

If, however, any errors were detected durng warm-up, the Sensor
Status Screen s dsplayed. If ths occurs, refer to Secton 4.13.13 for
nformaton on how to correct the error.
