Changing Buckle Position
The Hybrid 3-1 is equipped with a
2 - position length buckle.
Position - 1 (shortest) is the
installed length at the factory and
is intended to be used until a child
reaches 35lbs or the buckle is
touching the child’s thigh.
Position - 2 (longest) is intended
to be used until a child’s exceeds
35lbs or the buckle is touching the
child’s thigh.

To Change Buckle Length
1. Remove child from Hybrid 3-1.
2. Locate buckle webbing with
metal stamping on bottom of
the Hybrid 3-1 booster seat.

4. Unthread the metal stamping
and always store it away.
- Attach the metal stamping
to the elastic strap located on
the instruction manual storage
pocket.
- Flip the storage pocket in
and out from the bottom side
of Car Seat Base.
Metal Stamping Safety
5. Always remove the metal stamping
when using Position - 2 (longest)
Never leave it attached or exposed.
6. Ensure remaining metal stamping
is as pictured.
7. See page 83 for threading and
unthreading the Metal stamping
for Position -1 (Shortest).
3. Pull buckle webbing with
metal stamp away from seat
bottom. Turn metal stamping
vertical then push through
the opening in seat bottom.
