Framework settings

 

Skynet has two main different operating modes: the online mode and the standard mode. 

1.

 

The  Standard  mode  is  the  default  operating  mode:  the  weighing  application  installed  onto 
the device. 

2.

 

The  Online  mode  is  used  with  Flexpoint  applications:  Skynet  only  controls  scale  and  other 
configured  physical  devices  using  framework.exe,  while  the  user  interface  is  drawn  by 
Flexpoint  using  IESimple.  In  this  operating  mode  also  managedframework.exe  can  be 
configured, if required, to transmit over serial or network cable.
