Safe operation

The MINOP TREND handle can be combined with the
following suction/irrigation sheaths:

•

MINOP TREND suction/irrigation sheath 0° and
MINOP TREND endoscope 0°

•

MINOP TREND suction/irrigation sheath 30° and
MINOP TREND endoscope 30°

When irrigation button

is pressed, the field of view

of the adapted MINOP TREND endoscope

is rinsed

and thus freed from any blood and secretion.

To rinse MINOP TREND endoscope

Press irrigation button

down to the stop.

Suction is interrupted while irrigation is active.

To stop rinsing MINOP TREND endoscope

Release irrigation button

The valve automatically switches to continuous
suction and interrupts the irrigation.

Note

Suction is permanently active, except for the short
periods when irrigation is activated.

Disassembling

Dismounting the MINOP TREND suction/irrigation
sheath from the MINOP TREND handle

Turn MINOP TREND suction/irrigation sheath

with MINOP TREND endoscope

inserted while

pulling it out rearwards from MINOP TREND
handle

Dismounting the tubes and the irrigation button

Remove the tubes from the tube connectors.

Unscrew irrigation button

Dismounting adapter for holding arm RT099R

Undo the cap nut.

Remove adapter for holding arm RT099R.

Removing the MINOP TREND endoscope from the
MINOP TREND suction/irrigation sheath

Unscrew the light cable from MINOP TREND
endoscope

Remove the camera from the eyepiece funnel of
MINOP TREND endoscope

Unlock the clamping lever of MINOP TREND suc-
tion/irrigation sheath

and remove MINOP TREND

endoscope
