6.2 Input of simulated signals from calibrator

Introduction

A special calibrator has been designed for the electromagnetic flowmeter. This special
calibrator can generate the same kind of signal as the flow rate signal produced by
the flowtube. This simulated signal can be used for checking relevant functions of the
transmitter.

Getting started

Prepare the following devices and components.

ȲA special calibrator (MGZ13) and a special cable
ȲA digital multimeter
Ȳ250-Ω resistance

Checking method

Check the relevant functions in accordance with F1X 1000 Flow Meter Calibrator User's
Manual
(CM2-F1X100-2001).
