Chapter 6. Maintenance and Inspection

Failure inspection flow
WARNING
Before mounting, removing, or wiring, be sure to turn off the power to this device and all
connected devices. Failure to do so may result in an electric shock.
If there is any problem with the device, follow the inspection procedure below.
(Note: The terminal numbers are applicable in the case of the BC-R05A100 sub-base.)
Terminal numbers for Q890A100 replacement base unit
*1 Terminals 1 - 2
*2 Between terminals T - T or terminal 6
*3 Between terminals 3, 4 - L2(N)
*4 Between terminals 5 - L2(N)

Turn start input OFF
and press reset switch.
Set voltage within the
allowable range.
Disconnect the flame
detector wiring.
Pilot burner ignites.

within allowable
voltage range?
Did FLAME LED of
this device turn OFF?
Did FLAME LED turn off?
Replace this device.
