tcp / udp / both
Select if the user wants to forward the packets based on tcp, udp or both.
Forward Port
The port number of the tcp or udp packets the user wants to check against
the configured rules.
To Private IP
The IP Address of the user PC on the LAN-side network where packets of
matching criteria will be forwarded to.
ID
The ID of the port-forwarding rule in the Rule Table to be deleted.
5.7.3. IP
Filter
While the port-forwarding feature (available to a SIP-based gateway device) allows another user
on the WAN side of the network to access a PC or server located on the LAN side, our gateway
device provides a feature to prevent such access by specifying the IP address of the WAN side
users using the IP filter function. In the same manner, system supervisors can use this function to
prevent LAN users from accessing certain destination IP addresses.
User can add or delete
IP Filter
rules
for the gateway device in
Gateway mode
. When a packet
goes into the VOIP Gateway, the packet will be blocked if its source or destination IP matches
the rules specified in the IP Filter Table.
