Show Focus:
With the function, the range of the motorised focus can be pre-set to maintain an optimum sharpness of light
rays at a distance of 5, 10 or 15 metres. A 5-metre range is optimum for smaller locations. A 15-metre range
is optimum for elongated spaces or large locations.
Show Settings
Show mode: Choose this function to use 1 of the 4 in-built shows.
Slave Mode:
Select Master or Slave mode. In the Master-mode, the device shall lead in a chain of any
linked moving heads. In Slave-mode, the device will follow the commands of the designated Master-unit.
In Slave 1 mode, the device follows precisely the same commands as that of the designated Master. In Slave
2 mode, the device perform alternate, contrasting effects.
Sound Sense:
In this mode, the sound sensitivity can be set between 0 and 100. 0 is equal to no sensitivity
and 100 is equal to the maximum sensitivity.
Display settings:
Display Inverse: With this function switched on, the display is flipped. This is useful for hanging devices.
Contrast Ratio Display: Here, the contrast of the display screen can be adjusted so it is easier to read in
darker or brighter environments. The value can be set between 0 and 30.
Unit Temperature Display: Here, the temperature of the device is displayed. There is also the option to view
the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Language: It is possible to change the Display Menu language from English to Chinese. The device is set to
English as standard. It is recommended that the language not be changed unless you are a fluent Chinese
speaker, since resetting the language to English or performing a factory reset may prove difficult.
Fixture Test:
Auto Test: The Auto Test mode automatically runs the device through all of its functions. In practice, this is
done with one master device and a number of slaved devices so that if there is a problem with any unit, that
unit can be immediately identified.
Manual Test: In the Manual Test mode, functions of the device can be checked more precisely. By selecting
specific values of a function, a technician can simulate certain situations in which problems may arise. When
the menu of this function is left within Manual Test mode, the set values are not saved.
Fixture Information:
Fixture use hour: Displays the usage of the device in hours so that any maintenance intervals can be pre-
planned for example.
Fixture firmware information: Displays the current firmware that has been installed on the device. This cannot
be updated or changed.
Reset functions:
Pan & Tilt Reset: This command resets and recalibrates the pan and tilt motors. This can be practical if the
pan and tilt positions differ for any reason.
Effect Reset: This command recalibrates all stepping motors of the effect wheels. This refers to colours,
gobos, prisma and the motorised focus.
All Reset: This command resets all functions as if this device has been switched off and on again.
Special Functions:
Factory Reset: This command removes any saved setting and values and restores the original factory
settings. Certain preferences and changes made will be cancelled and reverted back to basic values.
