Set the
Attenuation
as follows:

Under the selected
Chain
(channel), in the
Downlink
section, set DL
Attenuation to the maximum value. The values shown in the figure below are for
example only.
o
Lower
the
Attenuation
level step by step until the desired output power level is
reached (zero attenuation = maximum gain).
NOTE: Since the base station is more sensitive than a mobile unit there may be less signal
gain from the mobile unit in to the base station (UL) than in the opposite direction. The
uplink attenuation can be adjusted more accurately later on, once test signal measurements
have been completed.
