In the SYSTEM panel, the CONTROL switch is used to select whether the lo-
cal or remote system should be controlled (see figure below)

For the remote control to operate correctly, the codec at the remote end must
be enabled (REMOTE CONTROLLED set to ALLOWED).

If remote control via the LSD channel is activated, “REMOTE” is displayed
(red, flashing) instead of LOCAL in the bottom line of the screen.

Note

Remote software download to the older version of the inter-
face unit (ID no. 2577 229500) is not possible via an LSD con-
nection. The reason is that an internal reset breaks the con-
nection at the beginning of the load procedure.
