5.3

Commands

Some commands have been implemented only for reasons of compatibility
with the CLI commands. They have no function and yet they do not generate
fault messages.

The following commands are available:

AL(ARMS)

Description:

This command produces a message on the current alarms in
the system.

In terminal mode, the alarm messages are in plain text.

In controller mode, a binary number is output (as an ASCII cha-
racter string) which indicates the system status. Every element
of the string represents an alarm signal. “1” stands for alarm
and “0” for no alarm. The order of the alarm messages in the
binary number (controller mode) corresponds to the order of
the messages in terminal mode.

Description:

This command switches the automatic call answering at the
X.21 interfaces on or off. If ANSWER is switched OFF, an inco-
ming call is immediately rejected. This ensures that no unwan-
ted dialling of the codec can take place.
