Unlocking the Scan Unit

 

 

The scan unit is locked during transport to protect the scanning mechanism from being 
damaged.   

Be sure to unlock the scan unit by moving the lock switch to the

Note: 

To move the MFP to another location, make sure the scan unit is at the home 
position which is at the left side of the glass before locking the scan unit. If 
the scan unit is not at its home position, turn on the MFP to let the scan unit 
move to its home position. Turn off the MFP and then lock the scan unit.
