Network Config Tab

The settings for the D400-Dante’s Primary and Secondary ports are found within the Network Config tab

of the Device View. Two settings are available in the drop-down menu. When set to

S

, both ports

are identical; Dante devices can be daisy chained. When set to

r

eduNdANt

, the Secondary port will serve

as a redundant copy of the data appearing at the Primary port. Note that using the Redundant setting

requires that the network be configured using a pair of gigabit switches.

Choose either Switched or Redundant from the drop-down menu.

Refer to the Audinate Dante Controller user guide for additional information about using this software as

well as setting up a redundant Dante network.
