Connecting the USB-to-Serial Adapter
The USB-to-serial adapter connects to a USB port on the USB hub (see the
following figure).
USB-to-Serial Adapter
To connect the USB-to-serial adapter to the USB hub:
1. Plug the USB-to-serial adapter cable into a USB port on the USB hub (see
“Connecting the USB Hub” on page 33 for port locations).
2. Install the USB-to-serial adapter software, using the instructions that
came with the USB-to-serial adapter.
Connecting the USB-to-MIDI Converter
Avid recommends the use of the MIDISPORT 2x2 USB-to-MIDI converter
connected to a USB hub for the Macintosh systems or to a USB port on a PC
(see the following figure).
