Coat outer surfaces, except painted ones, with preservation oil using a brush.
Record the preservation to the governor documentation. Check the calendar time since overhaul (TSO) in
the governor manufacturer’s documents. If required preservation and storage time is out of TSO limit,
follow governor manufacturer’s instructions.
(2) Storage of the governor
The governor prepared for storage at user store only in a clean room without aggressive vapors, well
ventilated at ambient temperature 20

±10°C (68° ±18°F) to and humidity to 70%. Store the governors in
bags or boxes then place them on shelves.
NOTE:
Storing on floor is not permitted. Take care to external governor parts.
