Streaming format, resolution, frame rate, bandwidth and percentage of
video loss for the selected camera is shown at the top of the camera
channel menu.
Your AvertX cameras are capable of dual streaming, which means they
send two different streams of video at different resolutions. The PRO
Series recorder records both streams. The higher resolution will display
when you view a single camera full screen, and the lower resolution
displays when viewing multiple cameras at once. This allows the
recorder to provide the best live image quality and record the high
resolution image.
 Video Resolution : Adjust the quality and size of the streamed
and recorded video on Stream 1 (stream viewed when in full
view)
 Video2 Resolution : Adjust the quality and size of the
streamed and recorded video on Stream 2 (stream viewed by
mobile devices and in multi-camera display modes).
 Video Rotation – Rotate or flip the image if the camera is
placed on a table, wall, or ceiling.
 Bit Rate – Set the data transmission speed for your camera. A
lower bit rate will result in lower image quality but a smaller file
size and more bandwidth availability.
 Frame Rate – Adjust the frame rate for your camera. A higher
frame rate results in more bandwidth and less available
storage space.
 GOP Length (Advanced Users)– The Group of Pictures
(GOP) is a group of successive pictures within the coded video
stream. Changing GOP can reduce storage consumption at the
expense of motion capture performance.
