REPLACING A COMPLETE FXT 5000 SERIES NODE

The components listed in this section cannot be replaced in the field. If any of these non-replaceable components
fails, the FXT 5000 Series node must be replaced.

Non-replaceable components:

• Motherboard, including any onboard disk, networking, and IPMI ports and controllers

• Fans

• SAS midplane

• CPUs and heatsinks

• DRAM modules (DIMMs)

• PCIe drive controller adapters

• PCIe Ethernet networking adapters

• PCIe NVRAM adapters

• Front control panel

Before opening a node to investigate any failure, review the following warnings and notices:
