To connect the bus coupler load supply:

Set up the correct pin assignment (see Table 7 on page 80

or see Table 9 on page 81) on the plug connections if you are

not using pre-assembled cables.

Connect the bus coupler operating voltages using the socket

coupling (see “Spare parts and accessories” on page 112).

Check the operating voltage specifications using the

electrical characteristics and comply with them (see chapter

“Technical Data” on page 110).

Provide power according to Table 8, page 81. Select the

cable cross-section according to the cable length and

occurring currents.

5.3.6

Connecting the 8x input/output modules

Input module

Wire the inputs according to Table 11 (8DI_M8) or Table 12

(8DI_M12).

Connect the electrical inputs/outputs to the I/O modules

with M8 or M12 coupling plugs (accessories).

To ensure the IP 65 protection class, close unused sockets

with M8 or M12 protective caps (accessories).

The total current for all sensor supplies (pin 1) on one valve

system must not exceed 0.7 A.

On delivery, all diagnostic messages are deactivated,

i.e. all DIP switches are set to OFF.

All tolerance settings are set to ON (10%)

CAUTION

Freely accessible conductive parts

Risk of electric shock on contact!

When connecting peripheral devices (I/O interface),

observe the requirements to protect against accidental

contact in accordance with EN 50178, classification

VDE 0160.
