INTRODUCTION
The AF998CE portable telephone dialler connected to a burglar control panel, in case of emer-
gency, allows to send previously recorded telephone messages to one or more users of the telepho-
ne line, through the GSM network. For proper operation, it requires one of the following models of
a GSM ERICSSON portable telephone: GA628, GH688, GF788, DUAL BAND S868.
The portable phone is not included.

OPERATION DESCRIPTION
The telephone dialler is provided with two transmitting channels.
The user can record, for each channel, a message lasting 10 seconds that will be sent, in case of
emergency, to 4 programmable telephone numbers (totally 8).
In case of alarm, the dialler switches on the portable telephone and, once the network search
pre-set time has elapsed, the following cycle starts:

It calls the first stored number.
If the person called answers (on-line signal) the dialler reproduces
the stored message four times (4 x 10 s.) (the message can be reproduced 8 times by pressing,
under the telephone number programming (described at pages 23/23), the key
