
Keys and buttons

Navigation/Selection key
: Use this key when navigating in menus, and to move the cursor
when writing some text or a number. The navigation keys
are used for moving left/right
and up/down when navigating in the menus. When selecting or entering a menu use the
selection key the middle of the navigation keys.

Softkeys
: The handset has three softkeys
located just beneath the
display. The function of these softkeys is indicated by text in the display just above each
softkey according to the respective screen.
•
Speaker key
: Use the speaker key
to shift between speaker mode and normal mode
during a call. When the handset is set to speaker mode during a call, the sound comes from
the speaker on the back of the handset.
•
Activity Menu Key
: Use this key
from idle to open the activity menu. From the activity
menu, you can open the different menus available on the handset.

Off-hook Key
: Use this key
for answering an incoming call, or dialing a number either
directly from the idle, or from the contact list, call list, or central directory. In idle mode, press
this key to open the call list.

On-hook
, and
Power On/Off Key
: Use this key
for disconnecting ongoing calls or
returning to the previous menus when navigating in any menu. A long-press in idle mode
turns off the handset. When the handset is turned off, long-press turns on the handset.

Speed Dial Keys
: You can set any of the keys from “2” to “9” as a speed dial key. Long press
on any of these numbers when the handset is in idle to set it as a shortcut to call any contact
in the contact list or in the F-Key list.

Volume Buttons
: Use the two volume buttons placed on the upper left side of the handset
for increasing or decreasing the volume during a call.
Note:
You can use these buttons to control the volume when using the earpiece, a headset,
and the loudspeaker. The lowest volume does not mute the handset.
•
Mute Button
: Use the mute button, which is located under the volume buttons on the left
side of the handset, to mute yourself during a call. When you press this button, the
microphone in the handset is turned off, and the called party cannot hear you. You can still
hear the audio coming from the other end of the call.
