FITTED EQUIPMENT
The dropdown basin may be removed, by
simultaneously lifting upwards and forwards,
for cleaning and retrieval of items (soap etc)
that may have fallen into the catchment
basin.
The toilet is fed through its own integral water
supply and is serviced from the rear of the
vehicle by opening the nearside rear door.
Wardrobe
The wardrobe is located on the nearside of
the vehicle, forward of the bathroom, and
incorporates a full width hanging rail and
storage for the pedestal table leg and top.
Lounge Area
The lounge area is at the front of the vehicle
and consists of an inward facing sofa on the
offside and the travelling seat, on the
nearside, which can be extended to form a
bench seat. The offside sofa has a slatted
base which lifts up to provide access to an
equipment and storage area. (In order to
make lifting the seat easier it is
recommended that the backrest is first laid
flat against the seat cushion). This area
contains the habitation battery, the space
heater and the main electrical system control
box. There is also a storage locker
accessible via a door in the sofa front panel.
At the front of the nearside seat is a
dropdown door which reveals a bottle
storage area with four bottle clips. On the
outside of this seat, and accessible when the
side door is open, is the switch for the
retractable step, the exterior awning light and
the interior step lights.
On a panel above the side door is located the
electrical control panel with scrolling menu
display and programmable control of all the
vehicles electrical services. It incorporates a
fresh water level indicator and master
switches for the water pump and 12 volt
circuits. Adjacent to this are individual
controls for the Whale water and space
heaters.
Lighting is provided by a roof mounted LED
light and three individually switched reading
lamps, two under the overhead lockers and
one above the nearside seat. Blue LED
feature lights are fitted in the front face of the
interior step, and are controlled by a switch
on the outside of the nearside seat.
A carbon monoxide alarm is fitted on the
lounge end of the nearside overhead locker,
with a smoke alarm on the ceiling at the front
end of the side door. A fire extinguisher is
clipped to the inside of the drivers seat.
Storage
Storage is provided by the cupboards,
lockers and within the seat bases. Additional
storage is available in the overcab shelving
area and various small pockets around the
vehicle.
Heavy items must not be stored in any
overhead locker, nor in any storage area from
which they could come free and cause injury
to the occupants of the vehicle. Ensure all
cupboards are securely fastened before
moving off (i.e. that the push buttons are in
the ‘locked’ position).
Ensure any articles stowed below the cab
seats will not come loose when the vehicle is
being driven.
