- Sending and receiving SMS -

1.

Before you can work on the caller list, press several times the 

CLIP/

/

button, until you see the message 

SMS-Modus

 appearing in the display. 

2.

Confirm with the 

ENTER

 button. 

3.

Select

 Einstellungen ?

 (Settings?) in the display using the Jogdial and 

confirm with 

ENTER

. The display will show 

Service Centre No. 1

.

4.

Confirm with 

ENTER

.

5.

Now enter the required phone number for Service Centre No. 1. Phone 
numbers already entered can be deleted using the delete button 

 and the 

Jogdial. 

6.

Confirm with the Save button 

 and the number will be saved. 

7.

Select

Service Centre No. 2

 in the display using the Jogdial and confirm 

with

ENTER

.

8.

Now enter the required phone number for Service Centre No. 2. Phone 
numbers already entered can be deleted using the delete button 

 and the 

Jogdial. 

9.

Confirm with the Save button 

 and the number will be saved. 

10. You can exit programming mode by pressing the 

CLIP/

/

  button 

repeatedly.

Validity of SMS messages  

If it is not possible for the SMS that you have sent to be forwarded directly to the 
recipient, the SMS will remain stored in the provider's Service Centre for a certain 
period of time. The provider will then automatically try to send the SMS later. 
With this setting, you can determine how long the SMS messages that you have 
created remain stored in the Service Centre before they are automatically deleted. 
The factory setting is 1 week.

Before you can work on the caller list, press several times the

Select

Now select the required validity duration using the Jogdial.
