Reading SMS messages already sent
SMS messages that you have sent can also be read at any time in the
Outgoing
folder and can also be re-sent.
1.
Before you can work on the caller list, press several times the
CLIP/
/
button, until you see the message
SMS-Modus
appearing in the display.
2.
Confirm with the
ENTER
button.
3.
Turn the Jogdial to the right until
Lesen ?
(Read?) appears in the display.
4.
Confirm with
ENTER
. The display will show the two folders
Eingehend
(Incoming) and
Ausgehend
(Outgoing) with the number of SMS messages
already received and sent. The cursor is positioned on
Incoming
.
5.
Select
Ausgehend
(Outgoing) with the Jogdial and confirm with
ENTER
. The
last SMS sent will be shown in the display together with the date, time and
phone number of the recipient.

Confirm with
ENTER
in order to read this SMS immediately or use the Jogdial
to select a different SMS that you want to read.
7.
Depending upon the length of the SMS, you can scroll within the SMS using
the Jogdial.
8.
After you have read the SMS, press the
ENTER
button. You can now select
the following functions using the Jogdial:
a.
Senden an? (Send to?)
b.
Menü beenden? (Quit menu?)
9.
Confirm your selection with
ENTER
.
a.
The SMS will appear in the display and can now be corrected or
expanded. Then press the Save button
and enter the required phone
number or select the required number from the phone book. Further
information can be found under 7.2 Item 6.
b.
Exit the menu.
10. You can exit the SMS menu altogether by pressing the
CLIP/
/
button
repeatedly.
