3.10.3 Entering the local dialling code and the country code
Telephone numbers are always shown in the display with the local dialling code or,
in the case of international calls, also with the appropriate country code. If these
numbers are dialled directly from the caller list, the dialling code can of course be
omitted with local calls. Therefore, you should enter your local dialling code
(always starting with the 0) and the country code for Germany (0049).
1. Press
the
MENU
button. The display shows the message LCD KONTRAST.
2. Select
the
ORTSVORWAHL message using the Jogdial.
3. Confirm with the
ENTER
button. The display shows the message - - - - - and
the dashes will flash.
4. Now enter the first digit of your dialling code using the number pad and then
move the cursor one position to the right by means of the Jogdial.
5. Enter the whole of your dialling code in this manner and confirm with
ENTER
.
The display shows the message LANDESVORWAHL.
6. Confirm with the
ENTER
button. The display shows the message - - - - - and
the dashes will flash.
7. Now enter the first digit of the country code for Germany using the number
pad and then move the cursor one position to the right by means of the
Jogdial.
8. Enter the whole of the country code for Germany "0049" in this manner and
confirm with
ENTER
.
9. Exit the set-up mode using the
button.
