2. To switch the microphone back on, press the

button again. The message MUTE disappears from the
display and the call can be resumed as normal.

Adjusting the receiver volume
The volume of the receiver can be adjusted according to requirements.
Use the
D
and
E
buttons to adjust the volume of the caller during a call. The selected volume is indicated in the
display by EAR VOL 1 to 5.

Redialling
Redialling is used when the phone number called was engaged or not answered. The telephone stores the last five
phone numbers dialled.
1. Press the
D
button and the last phone number dialled appears in the display.
2. Press the
D
button to scroll back in the list phone numbers stored in the redialling list. Press the
E
button
to scroll forward in the list.
3. Press the Call button
C
and the phone number displayed is automatically dialled.
Note:
If a phone number stored in the redialling list is also stored in the phone book, the name and not the
number automatically appear in the display.
Deleting phone numbers from the redialling list:
Proceed as follows to delete an individual phone number from the redialling list:
1. Press the
D
button and use the buttons
D
and
E
to select the phone number to be deleted from the
redialling list.
2. Press the
A
button and DELETE? appears in the display.
3. Confirm by pressing the Menu button
B
and the phone number is deleted from the redialling list.
Deleting all numbers from the redialling list:
Proceed as follows to delete all the phone numbers from the redialling list:
1. Press the
D
button.
2. Press and hold the
A
button until DELETE ALL? appears in the display.
3. Confirm by pressing the Menu button
B
and all the phone number are deleted from the redialling list.

Key lock
If you carry the handset around a lot, you can lock the keypad so that buttons are not inadvertently activated. Calls
can still be taken in the normal way even when the key lock function is activated.
Activating the key lock:
Press the
*
button on the handset for 3 seconds. The
k
icon appears in the display.
