To connect the serial interface port to a computer:

1.

Connect the RJ-45 connector, at one end of the cable, to the device's serial port (labeled
|0|0|), located on the CPU module on the rear panel.

2.

Connect the DB-9 connector, at the other end of the cable, to a COM RS-232
communication port on your PC.

The RS-232 port is not intended for permanent connection.
