1.
Check ...
... whether the external device has an HDMI ARC input.
... whether the ARC function can be used permanently on all HDMI connections
on the external device or if the ARC function must be switched on first. Please
refer to the manual of the external device.
2.
If necessary, switch on the ARC function on the menu of the external device.
3.
Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI ARC output of the external device to the
HDMI ARC
socket.
4.
Press the
button to turn on the TV sound stand and also the external device.
5.
For the playback press the
HDMI
button on the remote control of the TV sound
stand.
TV ARC
appears on the display.
6.
Then start playback on the external device. If the connection is correct, you can
now control the sound of the TV sound stand via the TV remote control.

COAXIAL CONNECTION
NOTE:
you may have to switch the sound output to the coaxial output on your TV.
To connect external devices to the
COAXIAL
socket, you need a coaxial cable. The ca-
ble is not included in the scope of supply.
1.
Use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial output of the external device to the
COAXIAL
socket.
2.
Press the
button to turn on the TV sound stand and also the external device.
3.
For the playback press the
COAX
button on the remote control of the TV sound
stand.
COAXIAL
appears on the display.
4.
Then start playback on the external device.
The volume can be adjusted via the TV sound stand.
NOTE:
it may be better to switch off the volume on the external device and listen to
the sound only via the TV sound stand.
5.
Switch off both devices before disconnecting.
