Before attaching the battery pack, make sure that the microSD
memory card and au Micro IC Card (LTE) are inserted securely. If the
card is not completely inserted, that may lead to microSD memory
card, au Micro IC Card (LTE), or battery pack damage.
◎
If the battery cover is forcibly pushed with fingers with the tabs of the
battery cover attached on the G’zOne, the tabs may be damaged.
au Micro IC Card (LTE)
au Micro IC Card (LTE) stores your
personal information such as a phone
number.
The product is compliant with au Micro
IC Card (LTE) only. You cannot use the
product by inserting the au IC-Card for
au phones and smartphones instead.

Note the following points, which may cause malfunction or damage,
when handling the au Micro IC Card (LTE).
•
Do not touch the IC (metal) part of the au Micro IC Card (LTE) or
the IC card terminal inside the product.
•
Insert the IC card in the correct direction.
•
Do not use force to attach or remove the IC card.
◎
Make sure to unplug the microUSB plug of the microUSB cable 01
(sold separately) etc. from the product when attaching or removing the
au Micro IC Card (LTE).
◎
Do not lose the au Micro IC Card (LTE) after it has been removed.

When the au Micro IC Card (LTE) is not inserted
If the au Micro IC Card (LTE) is not inserted, the following operations
are unavailable.

Besides the above, functions which requires your phone number etc.

* Making an emergency call to 110 (Police), 119 (Fire and Ambulance) and 118
(Regional Coast Guard Headquaters) and making a call to 157 (Customer
Service Center) are also unavailable.

Restriction Settings with PIN Code
You can set the product to restrict the use of the product by others
through changing the PIN1 code or locking the SIM card in order to
protect your important private information while you are using your
au Micro IC Card (LTE).
Removing the au Micro IC Card (LTE)
Turn off the power and remove the battery
pack before removing the au Micro IC Card
(LTE).
