software version, and other information in addition to the above.
Performing a Major Update
Major update is a function to update the software of the G’zOne. It
allows you to connect to the network to check the update information
for the G’zOne, and then download the software and update the
software if an update is necessary.
On the Settings menu screen, [About phone]
→ [Major update]
Update
now Update by
network Perform an update using the
network.
Update by
SD card Perform an update using a microSD
memory card.
Confirmation of
update Manually check for updates.

When a message indicating that
a new version has been released
appears, select “OK” to start
the browser and display how to
perform a major update. Confirm
the details.
Auto update Set whether to automatically check
for updates on a regular basis.
Auto download Set whether to automatically
download updates.

Packet communication charges will be incurred if you use an LTE
or 3G network to perform a major update. Packet communication
charges may become high so we recommend subscribing to a
flat-rate/discount service. (No packet communications charge is
incurred when communication is performed using a wireless LAN
(Wi-Fi
