9.
READING THE LOGGING INFORMATION
The data stored by the event logging facility of the DEP
/
T6, can be retrieved for
debugging purposes, statistical analysis or similar purposes. Only
Atos Worldline
staff
has access to these data.
This chapter describes the kinds of events that the system logs and how the
information is stored in a file.

YPES OF INFORMATION
9.1.1.
System monitoring information
This concerns the following information:
•
FPB temperature
•
CMB temperature
•
Processor temperature
•
USB devices
Every time the value of mentioned parameters changes, a record is generated in the
log file.
Below are a few sample records:

System management information
The software logs every attempt to open a menu that requires password identification.
The following system management stages are concerned:
•
System Configuration
•
Application Settings
•
System Shutdown
The software will also log the following tasks performed in this menu:
•
Parameter value changes
•
Confirmed or cancelled system updates
•
Confirmed or cancelled system shutdowns
For example, an operator that changes the Ethernet connection to be used but whose
first attempt to log in is not successful will produce the following records:
