3.4.1 STARTING PROCEDURE

– Check that the emergency stop buttons on the lower and upper station are pulled
(release by ¼ turn).

– Set the key selector on the lower station to the position required.
3 - Start by pressing the start switch up and holding it in position until the engine starts
(preheating is performed when the switch is held). Release the switch once the engine
has started.
Let the engine warm up at idle speed for a few minutes before using it at full load.
3.4.2 USE FROM THE BASKET CONTROL STATION
- NOTE-
The speed selector is active only for translation and only when the platform is
fully folded. By default it is on the slowest speed (turtle 4x4).

– Press the validation pedal by pressing the right-hand joystick (item Nr.3) slowly
to steer the wheels and for translation. You may combine the two movements.

– If you have chosen to use the element movements, before reaching the work location, check
that the platform is on flat, horizontal and bearing ground.
5 - Press the validation pedal by activating the function required. For your safety, we advise not to
combine two movements. The left-hand joystick (item Nr.2) is used to actuate large amplitude
movements such as arm 2 and the turret. Thanks to its smoothness, you can control the
movement perfectly, including for starting and stopping.
3.4.3 USE FROM THE GROUND CONTROL
STATION
1 - After applying the starting procedure, check that
the key selector is on the lower station.
2 - Actuate the movement required (one movement
at a time only).
3.4.4 STOP - ENGINE OFF PROCEDURE
To stop the engine, press the emergency stop button of the lower or upper station (release
by ¼ turn).
- NOTE-
The emergency stop of the upper station stops only the controls of the upper station
(engine stop + upper station off).
The emergency stop of the lower station stops all machine functions
(engine stop + upper station off + lower station off).

– Place the key selector of the lower station to position 0. Remove the key if you leave
the worksite to prevent any use by non authorized staff.
3.4.5 USE BY THE AUXILIARY CONTROL (BACKUP MODE)
