Corrective Action
The device has previous data
and settings that are now
inconsistent with current
system settings.
Erase all Deskset data and settings by unplugging
the LAN cable and pressing the reset button on
the bottom of the Deskset for more than five
seconds.
The LAN cable may be connecting the Network
port on the bottom of the Deskset, marked
, to another system device, rather than to
the Network. Make sure the LAN cable is attached
to the LAN.

The Gateway is failing to
synchronize with a Deskset
configured for a different
system configuration.
Always disconnect the LAN cable before restoring
factory defaults (by pressing the
RESET
button
more than five seconds).

The LAN cable is unplugged.
Ensure that one end of the LAN cable is plugged
into the Network/LAN port on the device and that
the other end is plugged into your office LAN.
Confirm that the light next to the LAN port is
green. If it is not, unplug the cable and plug it in
again.
There may be a problem with
the office network.
Check if other network devices, such as
computers, are communicating with the network.
If not, then contact your IT administrator.
