Troubleshooting Tables
Refer to the following table for solutions to possible problems you may en-
counter. The problem may be a user error, installation problem or faulty com-
ponent. You should be able to correct the problem on the spot without return-
ing equipment for maintenance exchange. If you cannot correct the problem,
contact your equipment supplier.
Symptom: A system diagnostics message is not printed.
Possible Cause
1. There is no ac power.
2. The ac outlet is defective.
3. The printer connected to the CAS is not
installed properly.
4. Connection between the CAS and the
printer is faulty.

Make sure the CAS or printer is not con-
nected to an outlet controlled by a
switch. Check the connections between
the CAS and its ac power outlet and
between the printer and its ac power
