Chapter 1: Product introduction

ASUS EZ Backup™

ASUS EZ Backup requires no driver or BIOS configuration. ASUS EZ Backup

offers plug and play RAID to backup your data instantaneously. Exclusive to ASUS

and the first of its kind in the world, EZ Backup allows users to utilize SATA2

technology to build RAID 1 (default) or RAID 0 without requiring any BIOS setup or

any other configuration. ASUS EZ Backup is ideal for anyone who wants to secure

data on the hard drive but does not want the hassle of complicated software

configuration. See section “5.4.4 Silicon Image

RAID configuration” for details.
