Inserting the SIM card,
microSD™ card, and battery
When you register with a service provider, you

receive a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM)
card. Your phone must have a SIM card in order
to make calls. The SIM card is a computer chip
that contains your phone number, phonebook
information, and service provider information.
Handle it with care and do not bend it or expose
it to static electricity or dirt. Be sure the power
to your phone is off before you insert your SIM
card.
The SIM card and the microSD™ card slots are
situated underneath the battery.
To insert the SIM card:
2. Pull the protruding film
on top of the battery
in the direction of the
arrow, then carefully
lift the battery out of its
compartment.
3. Open the SIM card
holder, then insert
the SIM card into
the holder. The
gold contacts of the
SIM card should
face down and the
notched edge should
be on the top right corner.
4. Place the SIM card holder back in place
and slide in the direction of the “Lock”
arrow to secure.
NOte
: In some regions the microSD™ card may be supplied as
an optional accessory only.
1. Slide the cover in the
direction of the arrow.
Lift and set it aside.

1. Push the microSD™ card holder in the
direction of the “Open” arrow to open,
then lift it using your fingernail.
2. Place the card in the slot with the gold
contacts facing down.
To insert the microSD™ card:
NOte
: Be careful when using the protruding film on the battery.
Incorrect usage may damage/tear the protruding film
