Mounting
Cut the bottom locking rod to length
The length of the upper locking rod depends on the door height. The follower is
normally 1 m above the floor.
Important!
Mixing up the two locking rods will render them useless:
The upper locking rod
N5121 (hollow on the inside) must be sawn off, the bottom locking rod N5130
(solid) does not have to be sawn off. The two locking rods are not interchange-
able.
Cutting the wrong end will render the locking rod unusable:
The locking rods
each have a thread on the passive leaf side of the bar. If the thread is cut off, the
locking rod can no longer be mounted on the passive leaf lock. Cut the locking
rod on the end without thread.
1 Calculate the required locking
rod lengths (Fig. 4):
· a1 = x1 – 185 mm
· a2 = x2 – 111 mm + C
You have calculated the required
lengths of the upper (a1) and
lower (a2) locking rods.
