Recommended distance between portable and mobile communication systems and the product (Table 206)
The product is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment where RF interference is controlled. The
customer or user of the product can avoid electromagnetic interference by maintaining the minimum distance
between portable and mobile RF telecommunications equipment (transmitters) and the product depending on
the output power of the communication device, as specified below.

For transmitters whose maximum rated power is not specified in the table above, the recommended protective
distance d in meters (m) can be determined using the equation belonging to each column, where P is the
maximum rated power of the transmitter in watts (W) as specified by the transmitter manufacturer.
NOTE 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the protective distance applies to the higher frequency range.
NOTE 2: These guidelines may not be applicable in all cases. The propagation of electromagnetic quantities is
influenced by absorption and reflections of buildings, objects and people.
