9. REPAIRS
The extraction air inlet on the top is only to be repaired by specialists trained for this very purpose.
Given damage the appliance is to be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. Please contact the
costumer service.
10. FUNCTIONAL CHECK • CARE • MAINTENANCE
To ensure reliability, the extraction air inlet on the top should be serviced and checked as to func-
tioning by a specialist at least once a year. At the same time the fitted filter unit is to be replaced
at least once a year - or sooner should the saturation limit be reached.
The integrated ventilation and filter saturation monitoring system electronically checks on func-
tionality. As a result, the extraction air inlet on the top function is constantly examined during
operation. The activated carbon filter of the extraction air inlet on the top must be replaced soon
after the red LED of the filter display blinks. Only our trained service technicians are to change the
filter, which is to be rapidly requested under the Service hotline. Having the filter changed by the
asecos service ensures that contaminated activated carbon is recycled in a defined disposal chain.
Clean the outside of the extraction air inlet on the top with a soft cloth and a common, mild
household cleaner. Before cleaning, disconnect the extraction air inlet on the top from the mains
by pulling out the C13 cable! Make sure that no moisture can penetrate into the inside of the
extraction air inlet on the top during cleaning.
