PREPARATIONS BEFORE STARTING OPERATION
Confirmation of the Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker
Maintaining and Checking the Working Environment
Extension Cord
Since this product has a double-insulated structure, the law does not require it to
install an earth leakage circuit breaker. To prevent electrical shock, however, it is
recommended to connect the machine to the power supply which is provided with
an earth leakage circuit breaker.
Make sure that the working area is kept proper as described in the "SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS" and "OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS".
① When an extension cord is required for use with a distant power supply, it
should be thick enough to carry certain current and as short as possible to
ensure that the product is used with the maximum efficiency without a failure.
② Following chart shows maximum length of the extension cord depending on the
thickness (sectional area of the core wire) which applicable to the machine.
● Before operating the machine, make the following preparations:
◎ Noise is controlled as set forth in relevant regulations. The machine must be
operated at less than the regulated noise to avoid discomfort to the neighborhood.
Sound barriers may be required under some circumstances.

◆ The extension cord used should be without damage.
A failure to do so may result in electrical shock or short, causing a spark.
